World Food Day commemoration focuses on ensuring food security all over the world. It is also leveraged to raise awareness about healthy diets. In recent years, World Food Day has been used to highlight different aspects of food security including agriculture, climate change and biodiversity. This year’s theme is – “Water is life, water is food. Leave no one behind”.
At The DN Wisdom Tree Global School, our little people marked World Food Day with a ‘show and tell’ activity. They made small presentations and talked about different kinds of food, the importance of healthy diets and how to conserve the precious resource of water.
Here are some glimpses from the day’s activities for you all to browse, and know why we say we are a school as unique as your child!
