In this online session of The Wisdom Finishing School Programme (WFSP), our children were taken through the theme “Rath Yatra”. It was very endearing to see the children, including pre-nursery toddlers enjoy the storytelling and related activities.

In this session of The Wisdom Finishing School Programme(WFSP), our children were taken through the theme “Our State is Special.” From our temples to festivals to handicrafts, cuisine and natural abundance, the children had a walkthrough on everything that we as proud Odias stand for. It was very endearing to see all the children, including pre-nursery toddlers, enjoy the jhoti-chita, muruja drawings with rice paste as well as their delight in executing “puchi”, the local squat and move exercise which is accepted as one of the best exercises for the lower body.

Dance is manifestation of the spirit of creative joy. Dance enables communion with higher energy. Dance enhances rhythm, agility, flexibility, aesthetics and grace. Dance is beauty in motion.
In this module of WFSP, children were taken through an enchanting session of theory on history of dance followed by practical demonstration by our children under the guidance of our vibrant dance mentor Jyotirmayee Das.

It was our day of music. The ambience was charged with mellifluous tunes and tones as our WFSP mentor Sanjana Patra began the session with a small note on the origins of music, musical instruments and music in nature following which the iconic song “do-re-mi” from The Sound of Music was played. Children enjoyed the visual presentation of the song as they were introduced to musical notes through the lines of the song. Thereafter, all the children sang along with our brilliant music mentor Subhakanta Mishra, charging the environs of our atrium truly with the sound of music!
