The Trinity are back from their sojourn at Mother Gundicha’s place, and soon it will be time to return to their seat, the Ratna Bedi, in the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Mandira. We marked Bahuda Yatra on campus with our own little celebration, complete with the Siblings’ favourite poda pitha and rasagolla, and a proper prasad repast for lunch.
Thus we concluded our 6th edition of Rath Yatra, Odisha’s biggest festival of culture and faith, with joy and pride. Time flies. How quickly these six seasons have passed and how our children have grown. It also makes us happy that many other educational institutions have started observing Rath Yatra as part of their annual calendar. This will go a long way in facilitating the next generation’s connection with key cultural practices and heritage.
