Frequently Asked Questions

When should I apply for my child’s admission?

The academic year runs from April to March; however this year in 2020 the school’s physical opening and further admission processes have been postponed till after the lifting of the lockdown owing to the COVID 19 pandemic. A new entrant’s application should be submitted within a week of resumption of school so that the interaction and other formalities may be completed shortly thereafter.

Would you consider late entrants after May?

This is entirely dependent on the number of vacancies that exist in a grade/ section, and the eligibility of your child to qualify for that grade. Please check with the admissions department if you are keen to join after the session has commenced.

How would I know about the fees structure?

You may call the School admissions department and seek the information about the fees structure. The School Office works 6 days a week. Please call between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.

What are your school timings?

Daycare: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Play group: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Nursery onwards: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.

Are their serviced bus routes from school?

The school operates AC vans on specific routes covering almost the whole of Bhubaneswar. Route planning is done based on availability of seats, common bus stops, motorable roads etc. Please speak to the School admissions department for further assistance.

How prepared should my child be for the interaction?

You need not prepare him/ her with anything. Children, once in our care, will be groomed right from the beginning. We need only to see the motor responses and signs of adjustment to understand the child and our responsibilities better.

What will happen with my child’s education after Grade 1?

The Wisdom Tree Global School is well on the way to becoming a full-fledged K12 School. From the academic year 2021-22, the sprawling new campus at Sundarpur will be in operation until Grade 5, and in subsequent academic sessions, middle school and senior school will become functional under the CBSE Curriculum. As a Wisdom Tree joinee in 20-21, your child will be in a privileged foundation batch of the school in the new campus during 21-22. Given the grand vision of the school of setting new benchmarks in education within the State of Odisha, your child will be ‘made for life’!

Is my child going to be safe in the school?

Ensuring safety and security of our children is the top-most priority at TWIGS. The new campus at Sundarpur is designed with the most modern safety equipment and systems.

Our current Kindergarten school building at Kalinga Nagar is organised as a safe and secure environment with all provisions in place to combat ‘natural’ hazards and manmade risks.

Our Safety Policy includes restricted entry into the school premises, police verification of support staff, school premises under CCTV surveillance, training to teachers on incident management and reporting, availability of fire extinguishers and first aid kit.  Mock drills and follow up of lessons on school safety, practical demonstration on the use of safety equipment, etc. are carried out with all staff. Buses of the school are properly maintained, and our experienced drivers briefed to adhere to speed limits ensuring the safety of children during their travel to and from school.
